A Restaurant Built on Conviction

BistroLaunch was born from a simple belief: exceptional food does not require pretension. It requires skill, sourcing, and sincerity. We have held that belief for fifteen years, through every menu change and every season.

We still source from the same three farms we partnered with on day one. We still hand-write our menus each season. We still know most of our regulars by name.

The Standard We Hold Every Evening

Every decision in this restaurant — from sourcing to service — is made with one question in mind: will our guests feel this was worth their evening?

Fresh Herbs

Seasonal & Local Sourcing

We build every menu around what the season offers. 85% of our produce comes from farms within 60 miles — fresher ingredients, more honest flavours, and a lower footprint on the world around us.

Culinary Craft

Professional Culinary Precision

Technique matters. From the first mise en place at 7am to the final garnish at the pass, we apply professional rigour at every step of every dish — whether you order the scallops or the risotto.

Our Values

Genuine Warmth

We don't train our team to perform warmth. We hire people who are genuinely warm. Every guest is treated as someone we have been looking forward to seeing — because we have.

Wine Selection

Curated Wine Programme

Our sommelier Olivia Marchetti personally tastes and approves every bottle before it joins our 280-label list. Pairings are built to elevate the food, not overshadow it.

Excellence

Zero Compromise on Quality

We don't cut corners to control food cost. If an ingredient isn't at its best this week, we pull the dish. Quality is the only standard we are willing to be judged by — and we are.

Global Sourcing

Community Roots

We are part of this neighbourhood and we take that seriously. We support local charities, mentor culinary students, and work with the same farm families we started with in 2009.

What Our Guests Say

We don't ask for reviews — our guests leave them because they mean it.

"The dry-aged ribeye was the single best piece of beef I have eaten in New York. The marbling, the crust, the bone marrow butter — everything was flawless. We will be back before the month is out."

MT
Margaret T.
Annual Anniversary Dinner

"I've done the tasting menu twice now, and each time the wine pairings alone were worth the visit. Olivia's selections are intelligent without being pretentious. She actually explains why a wine works."

JR

"We booked The Library Room for a corporate dinner and it was perfect. The coordinator managed everything without us having to think twice. Our clients were genuinely impressed."

SL
Sophia L.
Private Corporate Dinner

"The scallops and the fondant in one evening — I don't think I need to eat anywhere else for a while. The pacing was exactly right. We never felt rushed and never felt forgotten."

Birthday Dinner

"I have a serious shellfish allergy and the kitchen handled it with more care than I've encountered anywhere. They called ahead to confirm, adjusted multiple dishes, and I felt entirely safe."

Regular Guest

"The truffle mushroom risotto is something I think about on a regular basis. We made a reservation for next month before we had even left the building. That says everything."

Common Questions Before You Visit

How far in advance should I book?
For standard dining, 1–2 weeks in advance is ideal — especially on weekends. The Chef's Tasting Experience is limited each evening and usually books out 2–4 weeks ahead. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows.
Do you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. Our kitchen handles vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and most allergy requirements with care. For the tasting menu, we can design a full parallel menu for guests with restrictions. Please let us know when booking.
What is the dress code?
Smart casual or above. We want you to feel comfortable — so no strict formal code — but we ask that sportswear and athletic clothing are not worn in the dining room. Smart jeans are perfectly acceptable.
Is parking available?
We offer valet parking on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm. The nearest public garage is Soho Park Garage — a 3-minute walk. The Canal St subway station (A/C/E) is a 4-minute walk from the restaurant.
Can I host a private event or corporate dinner?
Yes — we have two private spaces: The Library Room for 8–20 guests and The Garden Suite for 20–50 guests. Both include a dedicated coordinator, customisable menu, and exclusive use. View packages →
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover — plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not accept cash. A discretionary 18% service charge is added to all bills.
